Bernd Günther sj. \nVoici les dates suivantes pour 2025:  1 juin \, 6 juillet. Veuillez également lire nos communications en cas de changement de date. \nLa Messe s’adresse spécialement aux enfants de 0 à 6 ans\, ils/elles restent sur le grand tapis devant l’autel\, entourés de leurs parents. \nLe service est adapté pour les enfants\, y compris les chants\, l’homélie et la liturgie\, pour les impliquer autant que possible\, et dure 45 minutes (60 minutes avec l’arrivée et le retour des tapis). \nEnsuite\, les familles se réunissent pour une petite collation. \nL’allaitement maternel est bienvenu\, le changement de couches est possible\, et il y a des toilettes et un ascenseur pour les poussettes dans la chapelle. \nLes familles d’autres confessions chrétiennes sont les bienvenues\, selon l’esprit œcuménique de la Chapelle (la célébration suit la liturgie catholique). \nLes parents sont invités à se joindre à l’équipe des parents organisateurs\, régulièrement ou occasionnellement\, avec : \n– musique pendant la messe (guitare\, piano\, chant ou autre)\n– activité/animation basée sur l’évangile du dimanche (coloriage\, collage\, autre)\n– fruits / collation santé après la messe \nPour plus d’information et si vous êtes intéressé\, veuillez envoyer un courriel à P. SUMMARY:Painting with light
DESCRIPTION:ICONS WRITING WORKSHOP \nCALENDAR AND FEES \nClasses will be held once a week at 18h30 till 21h on Mondays. The meeting will consist of 15 minutes of preparation\, 2h of work\, 15 minutes of cleaning. We start on February the 10th till April the 14th (except March 17th). \nThe cost of the 9 classes per 2\,5hours is 230 euros paid once at the beginning of the workshop. The price of the classes includes the participation fee\, one-on-one consultations\, room rental fee and materials. The minimum group is 6 persons\, the maximum – 12. \nWork materials:\nBy coming to the workshop you’re getting all needed materials to make one icon: a set of 4 brushes: in different sizes made of squirrel hair plus one plastic one\, a palette\, a wooden board prepared with white layer of glue-chalk “levkas” and 11 pigments and tools for work in the class – sponges\, spatulas\, sandpaper\, paper towels\, wine\, eggs\, candles\, paper\, tracing paper\, rubber bands and others. \nREQUIREMENTS: \nNo experience or art education is necessary to start writing icons ! 

Learning begins with mastering the basics of icon-writing and is conducted at a pace that suits the participants’ abilities and needs. We work with the historical method.\nDuring the class you will learn:\n– hold the brush correctly\n– precision and diligence\n– making emulsion from eggs and wine and mixing tempera from pigments and emulsion\,\n– the basics of observation and composition\, making a sketch and transferring it to the wooden board\,\n– painting \nA few words from the presenter: \n“My name is Katarzyna Martynuska and I am an art historian by education at the University of Warsaw. I acquired my painting skills at the Study of the Christian East in Warsaw and at the Christian Association of Creators of Sacred Art “Ecclesia” in Cracow.\nIn Warsaw\, for four years\, I led icon painting workshops at the “Way to Beauty” studio\, with which I still cooperate. I am currently a student of the master class at the Brussels Academy of Icon Painting. 
I am also a founder of “TEKLA” association – promoting women and girls in the Catholic church.

The Chapel invites you to a Retreat in Daily Life that will help you deepen your spirituality and grow in the experience of God’s closeness. \nThis retreat is based on Ignatian spirituality and will focus on the Credo—formulated at the Council of Nicaea (325 ad)\, 1\,700 years ago. The Credo is still the basic summary of the Christian faith in all churches today\, it will guide us as we reflect on our daily lives during Lent. DESCRIPTION:ICONS WRITING WORKSHOP \nCALENDAR AND FEES \nClasses will be held once a week at 18h30 till 21h on Mondays. The meeting will consist of 15 minutes of preparation\, 2h of work\, 15 minutes of cleaning. We start on February the 10th till April the 14th (except March 17th). \nThe cost of the 9 classes per 2\,5hours is 230 euros paid once at the beginning of the workshop. The price of the classes includes the participation fee\, one-on-one consultations\, room rental fee and materials. The minimum group is 6 persons\, the maximum – 12. \nWork materials:\nBy coming to the workshop you’re getting all needed materials to make one icon: a set of 4 brushes: in different sizes made of squirrel hair plus one plastic one\, a palette\, a wooden board prepared with white layer of glue-chalk “levkas” and 11 pigments and tools for work in the class – sponges\, spatulas\, sandpaper\, paper towels\, wine\, eggs\, candles\, paper\, tracing paper\, rubber bands and others. \nREQUIREMENTS: \nNo experience or art education is necessary to start writing icons ! 

Learning begins with mastering the basics of icon-writing and is conducted at a pace that suits the participants’ abilities and needs. We work with the historical method.\nDuring the class you will learn:\n– hold the brush correctly\n– precision and diligence\n– making emulsion from eggs and wine and mixing tempera from pigments and emulsion\,\n– the basics of observation and composition\, making a sketch and transferring it to the wooden board\,\n– painting \nA few words from the presenter: \n“My name is Katarzyna Martynuska and I am an art historian by education at the University of Warsaw. I acquired my painting skills at the Study of the Christian East in Warsaw and at the Christian Association of Creators of Sacred Art “Ecclesia” in Cracow.\nIn Warsaw\, for four years\, I led icon painting workshops at the “Way to Beauty” studio\, with which I still cooperate. I am currently a student of the master class at the Brussels Academy of Icon Painting. 
I am also a founder of “TEKLA” association – promoting women and girls in the Catholic church.

It includes trafficking\, online sexual abuse\, child prostitution\, and child pornography: fueled by poverty\, weak legal systems\, corruption\, and the increasing reach of the internet. The rising number of children trapped in exploitation has devastating and lasting consequences on their lives. Victims/ survivors of sexual abuse are often deeply traumatized\, and their capacity to thrive severely impacted. \nThe Chapel for Europe wants to support as we raise awareness and explore ways to take action in protecting the most vulnerable. Join us as we talk to Sheila Guico Mally and René Mally about this hidden crisis of child sexual exploitation specifically in the Philippines. Although the Philippines are the world´s epicenter for online sexual exploitation of minors\, hardly any facilities for trauma healing exist. \nResponding to this dramatic situation\, Attorney Sheila quit her job as prosecutor\, re-trained as a therapist and established the Balik Kaanyag Trauma Healing Center (Blossom of Life).  Together with her team\, she now offers hope and healing to sexually abused children in Mindanao\, Philippines. \nThe Balik Kaanyag Trauma Healing Center (Blossom of Life) is a Christian non-profit organization that aims to care for\, heal\, and empower children victims of abuse\, especially survivors of sexual abuse. \nChild sexual exploitation is a global emergency that demands urgent action. DESCRIPTION:At the Chapel for Europe weekly masses are celebrated on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 13:15. \nThe mass is celebrated according to the roman catholic liturgy including the Eucharist. Usually the celebration will be in French\, on occasions also in  English\, depending the attendees. \nThe Chapel opens its doors and welcomes you from Monday to Thursday from 12:00 to 14:00 for a silent prayer\, a moment of reflection or just some minutes of spiritual pause during the busy week days. Come as you are\, you are always welcome! \n
