Eucharistic Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration is a practice mostly observed in the Roman Catholic Church, but also in Anglo-Catholic and some Lutheran traditions, in which the Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by the faithful. Adoration is a sign of worship of Jesus Christ, who is believed to be truly present under the appearance of the consecrated host.
During Eucharistic Adoration, we “watch and pray”, we remain “silent” in the presence of Christ and we open ourselves to His Graces…
Eucharistic Adoration is an affirmation of our faith. Through this type of prayer we give witness to our belief that God is truly dwelling with His people.
