Ecumenical Prayer Lunch – Every Thursday

Not only on special occasions, but also regularly, every week on Thursdays, an ecumenical prayer lunch is held at 1:00 p.m.
Members of different churches come together to pray, reflect, and share a simple meal.
The prayer is prepared according to the spiritual tradition of the church to which the person leading the prayer belongs.

Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (Semaine de prière pour l’unité des chrétiens)

Every January, churches around the world celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
In Brussels, an interconfessional prayer service is organized by the Brussels Interchurch Committee, of which the Chapel is a member.

Ecumenical Opening of the EU institutional year

This important ecumenical prayer in September each year marks the beginning of a new academic/social, or institutional year in the European institutions after the summer break. It also marks the beginning of the Chapel’s full programme after the summer break.
The Chapel invites representatives of various churches and all those engaged in the European mission.
