Our financial situation

1. Sources of income of the Chapel

In 2024 the Chapel had an income of about 112.000€. Some of it were exceptionel one-time donations, on which we cannot count in the coming years.

In addition to this the archdiocese Mechelen-Brussels takes care of the salary of the director. This does not show in the Chapel’s budget.

2. Financial Needs of the Chapel

However the Chapel had expenses of about 121.000€ in the year 2024. The gap could be taken out of the reserves. However a lot of financial support will be needed in the future to help balancing the budget.
