Dance and sacred songs

On march 8th we celebrate the International Women’s Day, a tribute date to those women who speak out, and also to the ones behind the scene, and together work hard to make the world a better place.

Chapel for Europe, with the support of the Brussels Catholic Church, has arranged a serie of 5 evenings during the month of March 2023 around the theme: WOMEN OF FAITH: REALITIES AND DREAMS. Both men and women are invited to join these events.

The second event of this rich serie, is the performance evening  “DANCE AND SACRED SONGS” organized together with Hope Network

We are delighted to count with two magnificent women artists:
Julie Efsun, whirling dance artist
and
Rozemarijn Vanwijnsberghe, soprano vocalist, choir conductor and managing director inTOUCH, interfaith charity organisation.

Combining dancing and singing, the artists will put mysticism in action. The dancer will turn at the rhythm of Sufi music and the singer will enchant us with the words of Saint Hildegard of Bingen.

This will be a unique opportunity for experiencing the mystic from both traditions.
