We say good-bye to this exceptional exhibition around Saint Francis from the artist
Rik Van Schil, O.F.M.During the event we will have the pleasure to welcome Barbara Mertens, Father Jef Augustijnen, O.F.M and thank Stijn Vanwijnsberghe.
Father Jef Augustijnen, O.F.M., a Franciscan missionary in RDC is in charge of the water project in Dilolo the benefits of the exhibition will be used for.
Barbara Mertens is a Belgian historian that “met” Francis and Clara of Assisi at Roosenberg Abbey in Waasmunster. Since 2017, she has worked as a staff assistant at
“TAU-Franciscan spirituality today”. TAU is an initiative of the Franciscan and Capuchin Friars Minor that aims to make Franciscan spirituality present and accessible to everyone today.
Stijn Vanwijnsberghe, art historian (KUL) and qualified antique dealer with a long experience in the evaluation of art objects and the organisation of exhibitions.

Tijdens het evenement hebben we het genoegen Barbara Mertens, pater Jef Augustijnen, O.F.M. en Stijn Vanwijnsberghe te verwelkomen.
Pater Jef Augustijnen, O.F.M., Franciscaans missionaris in de DRC verantwoordelijk voor het drinkwaterproject in Dilolo waaraan de opbrengst van de verkoopstentoonstelling zal worden besteed.
Barbara Mertens is een Belgische historica die Franciscus en Clara van Assisi “ontmoette” in de Abdij van Roosenberg in Waasmunster. Sinds 2017 werkt ze als stafmedewerker bij
“TAU-Franciscaanse spiritualiteit vandaag”.
TAU is een initiatief van de Minderbroeders Franciscanen en Kapucijnen dat de Franciscaanse spiritualiteit vandaag voor iedereen aanwezig en toegankelijk wil maken.
Stijn Vanwijnsberghe, kunsthistoricus (KUL) en gediplomeerd antiquair met een lange ervaring als schatter van kunstvoorwerpen en organisatie van tentoonstellingen.

Barbara Mertens est une historienne belge qui a ” rencontré ” François et Clara d’Assise à l’abbaye de Roosenberg à Waasmunster. Depuis 2017, elle travaille comme assistante du personnel de “TAU-Spiritualité franciscaine aujourd’hui”. TAU est une initiative des frères mineurs franciscains et capucins qui vise à rendre la spiritualité franciscaine présente et accessible à tous aujourd’hui.
Stijn Vanwijnsberghe, historien d’art (KUL) et antiquaire diplomé avec une longue expérience en estimation d’objets d’art et organisation d’expositions.
