On march 8th we celebrate the international Women’s Day, a tribute date to those women who speak out and also to the ones behind the scene, and together work hard to make the world a better place.
Chapel for Europe, with the support of the Brussels Catholic Church, has arranged a serie of 5 evenings during the month of March 2023 around the theme: WOMEN OF FAITH: REALITIES AND DREAMS. Both men and women are invited to join these events.
The forth event of this rich cycle, is the INTER-CONVICTIONAL ROUND TABLE: SPIRITUAL LEADERSHIP OF WOMEN.
Bringing together a group of women who hold a position of responsibility in their own confessions. They will share their experiences and discuss about their role as women of faith.
– Sema Aydogan, president of Platform Dialogue and project manager at Fedactio. Muslim Faith.
– Gayané Bertrand-Nersisyan, secondary student in Liege – Armenian Apostolic Church.
– Laurence Flachon, pastor at the United Protestant Church.
– Sister Anne Peyremorte, catholic Saint-Andrew’s Sister and responsible of the Kerkebeek Pastoral Unit.
– Lama Rinchen Palmo, life ordained nun in Tibetan Buddhism. Spiritual responsible of the center Kagyu Samye Dzong.
– Irini de Saint Sernin, philanthropy director of the Bollandist Society sj. – Greek Orthodox Faith.
– Nehama-Dina Uzan, program director at European Jewish Community Center.
