Rorate Mass – Advent Morning Liturgy

Rorate masses – their name refers to the biblical verse “Rorate coeli desuper” (“Drop down ye heavens from above”, Isaiah 45:8) – are an element of the Catholic liturgy in Advent. These messes are celebrated in the early morning by candlelight, that is gradually intensified by the breaking dawn – to symbolize that Christians eagerly await the coming of the Light: Christ.

A light breakfast will be provided after mass.
