Welcome to our yearly bike trip of June – Discovering Leuven and its surroundings.

An activity organized with our interreligious partner FEDACTIO.

We will meet at Central Station, Brussels, at 9h00 sharp, and we will get our bikes close to Leuven Railway station. You don’t need to have your own bike.

The route is about 41km: Leuven – Heverlee – Zoete Waters – Dijle River – Leefdaal – Kortenberg – Bertem – Leuven.

Some highlights:
– Groote Markt of Leuven and Saint Peter’s Church
– Saint Anthony’s Chapel with Saint Damien’s Crypt
– The Great Beguinage of Leuven
– Castle of Leefdaal
We will picnic at De Zoete Waters (we can bring our sandwiches, and we shall buy drinks) and then, we will cycle through Flanders fields towards Kortenberg.
In the afternoon we will be hosted by a Turkish family, active members of FEDACTIO, who will welcome us at their home and offer us coffee and Turkish delights.
Getting back to Leuven around 19h00, to be back in Brussels at about 20h00.

The cost of the trip is 10€ (bike rental). It doesn’t include picnic or train tickets.

We look forward to seeing you on the track!

Your prayers for sunny weather are most welcome 😉

The group max 20 people.

There are limited spaces for 20 people, so please register as soon as you make up your mind. Registrations are open until Monday 12 at midnight.
