THE LETTER: A message for our Earth.

In his encyclical letter “Laudato Si” (2015), Pope Francis challenged the world to value and protect our “common house”, the Earth, and humanity.

The film “The Letter“ (2022) tells the story of a journey to Rome of frontline leaders to discuss the encyclical letter Laudato Si with Pope Francis. The exclusive dialogue with the Pope, included in the film, offers a revealing insight into the personal history of Pope Francis and stories never seen since he became the Bishop of Rome.

In 2023 the Pope wrote the follow-up encyclical letter “Laudate Deum”. This new letter will be presented to the European public in Brussels by ELSIA (https://elsialliance.org/). The date is to be confirmed.
