The aim of the workshop is to (re)discover and explore the voice and its placement in the body for more joy and freedom of singing. You will get awareness on what elements of body take part in singing and how to activate them, how to release blocks, deal with emotions using singing and employ them into interpretation, finally how to give freedom to your voice and use it in a healthy way.

The workshop will have two focus points:

–          Working on your voice

–          Singing in the choir

It is directed to those who want to understand better how to manage their voice, also in professional context (presentations, speeches), as well to those already singing in choirs. With a mix of theory and tips you will be guided from the work with your body and getting awareness around your voice to joy of singing in ensembles.

The workshop will be led by Luiza Chrzanowska, coach and conductor of the Warsaw International Choir in Action, based of Jesuits Refugee Service in Warsaw.

Luiza used to lead “Gabriels Band”choir at Chapel for Europe “Gabriels Band” before she headed back to Poland two years ago to develop further as Choir Master at Music Academy in Bydgoszcz (Choir Master). She leads different music workshops for non-profit organisations (Caritas, homeless, refugees) and for business, and gives vocal lessons for those who love to discover and explore their voices.

Being a coach she inspires people to look for their inner talents and make them shine.

For more information about the workshop and to register please contact Luiza directly on: chor@wakcji.org

Participation to the costs is 25€ for workshop.
