IN FRENCH It is said that faith can move mountains. But could it also reduce our greenhouse gas emissions to mitigate the effects of global warming? According to a study published in September 2025, spirituality has become "a motivating factor for climate action". The Catholic movement Laudato Si' and the interfaith NGO Greenfaith, which brings together Christians, Muslims, Jews and Buddhists on a spiritual journey for climate and social justice, reveal a unique overview of believers' commitment to the planet. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent—a time of reflection, renewal, and spiritual growth. The external sign of this journey is the cross of ashes on your head, symbolizing commitment and challenge and a blessing as we open our hearts to ourselves, others, and God. Our Father who art in heaven Retreat in daily life Lent 2026 Lent is a special time to realign oneself and strengthen one's relationship with God. We invite you to a retreat in everyday life to deepen your spirituality and grow in the experience of God's closeness. The retreat includes a daily biblical prayer, for which instructions are provided, a prayerful review of the day, and a weekly sharing about it. The retreat follows the OUR FATHER, the basic Christian prayer. Bible passages are offered for daily meditation, which can deepen and illuminate the respective prayer requests of the Lord's Prayer.
